The 22nd edition of the Ravenna Marathon City of Art should have taken place on Sunday 8 November, an event canceled following the serious situation that arose in the last weeks preceding the event following the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
A surreal day, in which usually the colors, the heat, the adrenaline, the passion, the smiles, the hugs, the joy, the fatigue, the screams, the greetings and all the ingredients of the Ravenna Marathon animate the streets, alleys and squares, and not just on that day but for a whole week and maybe more.
Instead, Sunday 8 November was a strange and strangely silent day.
Runners from all over the world couldn’t run and so we ran! Representatives of associations, organizations, clubs, companies, committees, hoteliers, restaurateurs and all the organizations that, thanks to their commendable commitment, have made the Ravenna Marathon possible and will make it possible in the future.
In front of the cameras the protagonists, this time, were them.
Thank you all… #weareravenna
