With great attention to all protocols and guidelines, but with the enormous satisfaction of being able to run or walk together safely for a gradual return to normal without underestimating Covid-19.
Almost a thousand participants took part in the 2020 edition of Ravenna Park Race, organized by Ravenna Runners Club, one of the first post lockdown events proposed on the national running scene, and more specifically the trail. A success of participation beyond all expectations, but also a test passed with flying colors as regards compliance with the regulations against the spread of Coronavirus. Attention to the rules was one of the main features of this edition, with the participants divided into blocks of 50 participants and starting “in waves” spaced from each other by three minutes and final timing in real time to draw up the rankings. And despite these at least “anomalous” departures, with the competitors ready to start one meter from each other, the fun was not lacking and the spectacle of a path that winds through the seafront, pine forest and pialassa won the heart of all.
Attention to the guidelines that were scrupulously followed not only in the phases preceding the race, but also at the end, with guided tours for all participants, sanitation and distancing for all.
As for the 21K rankings, they are available on the website www.ravennaparkrace.com or directly at the link: https://bit.ly/3ius4IM.
Absolute winners among women Federica Moroni and Matteo Lucchese among men, both members of the Avis Castel San Pietro Athletics.
The event is included in the Trail calendar of the UISP Emilia-Romagna.
