«Ravenna has given us a lot, now it’s up to us», with this incipit the fundraising launched by Ravenna Runners Club, an association that promotes and organizes the Ravenna Marathon City of Art, started a few hours ago to support the Santa Maria delle Croci Hospital in Ravenna.

With the firm will to collaborate in a delicate phase of everyone’s life, for the good of their territory, the staff of Ravenna Runners Club has decided to take action in favor of the health supervision of their city, one of the many in Italy that in this period finds, with its staff and facilities, facing an unpredictable emergency until recently.

For this reason, a fundraiser has been activated on the online platform www.gofundme.com. The initiative will now allow for the support of all those people who want to make their contribution, small or large, in the fight against Covid-19.

«In this delicate moment for everyone – explains Stefano Righini, president of the Ravenna Runners Club – the medical staff needs to feel each of us involved in the great effort, to stem the spread of the Coronavirus and fight it so that we can return to our life, at passions and everyday funs. We want to do our part on this occasion, to be able to resume running and walking all together again with a relaxed and festive atmosphere. For this reason we thought of this collection. A small gesture in a difficult moment, but we hope significant for those who are busy on the front line every day ».

The CORONAVIRUS fundraiser, ALL SUPPORT THE RAVENNA HOSPITAL, created in collaboration with the ALICe Ravenna ODV Association, will serve for the purchase of material and instrumentation essential for the care of the population in the fight against the Covid-19 emergency and is available at the following link:
