In this delicate and particular moment both for the sports world and for the entire national and international context, the Ravenna Marathon City of Art meets on its way new partners ready to support the organization and face the challenge in view of the appointment of next November 8, when Romagna will host the great running event, one of the very few, among the best known, proposed in 2020 post lockdown.
In fact, the partnership between Ravenna Runners Club and Ravaioli Legnami, an international company from Romagna, is official. Founded in 1985 as a joinery of wooden profiles and skirting boards, Ravaioli Legnami is today one of the reference companies in the world for outdoor wood flooring and cladding.
Ravaioli Legnami will support Ravenna Runners Club both in the challenge on Sunday 8 November, when the Marathon and Half Marathon runners will start “in waves” from Via di Roma, and on the weekend of 21 March 2021. which it was decided to postpone the performance of the Good Morning Ravenna 10K, the Dogs & Run and the other collateral events that usually enriched the second weekend of November and which this year, due to the well-known problems related to Covid, have not been canceled but rescheduled in early spring. All this, of course, in the hope that the Coronavirus issues will allow the usual party for the whole city in a more serene and relaxed atmosphere.
“The world of sport and culture – says Angelo Bagnari, owner and export manager of Ravaioli Legnami – must still go ahead with the utmost precautions. The Marathon is the activity that best combines these two aspects. I have been training for months to participate in first person and it excites me to think of running along the historic buildings of Ravenna. With our sponsorship we want to instill courage: the Marathon teaches to advance between fatigue and unexpected events. And this idea has always been the basis of our corporate culture. I conclude by thanking Ravenna Runners Club and all the Authorities who are professionally managing this important event “.
